Blackflag Moto collects only the information needed to run the site, understand reader behavior, and deliver The Flag newsletter.

Information you submit through newsletter forms includes your email address, page/referrer context, UTM parameters when present, and basic consent metadata such as IP address and user agent.

We also record limited first-party analytics events for actions like find views and newsletter signups. Those events may be forwarded to LeadBadger infrastructure or a separately configured analytics provider when launch configuration enables it.

When you comment, we store your display name, email address, comment, and moderation status. Approved names and comments appear publicly; email addresses remain private and are used for moderation. Commenting does not subscribe you to the newsletter. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection and temporarily retain hashed network and email identifiers to limit repeated submissions. Reader comments require editorial approval and may be hidden or removed.

We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers for analytics, newsletter delivery, hosting, and affiliate link reporting.
